The ACC has performed at many high profile events and concerts, in prestigious venues ranging from the Sydney Opera House and the Melbourne Arts Centre’s Hamer Hall, to St Paul’s and St Patrick’s Cathedrals, Rod Laver Arena, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, AAMI Stadium, the Royal Exhibition Building, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Federation Square, the Regent Plaza ballroom, Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne Town Hall, and many other venues.
The Choir has performed for Royalty, Presidents and Prime Ministers, and at many Civic and State occassions. Frequent Television and Radio performances are also events that the Australian Children’s Choir has successfully undertaken.
Recent performances have included concerts and recordings with the Melbourne Symphony and Royal Melbourne Philharmonic, to recording music for Television and Film, live appearances with famous artists like American Rock legends “Kiss”, as well as appearances at major sporting events, important State and civic occasions and corporate functions for many of Australia’s leading companies.
Private performances have also included appearances at major venues such as Crown Casino, the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the Windsor Hotel, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Australia Club, Melbourne Cricket Ground and even the Melbourne Zoo!
Our Artistic Director is highly experienced at planning music at major events, and the ACC will be happy to tailor a performance to make your event special. Our staff will be happy to discuss any performance request you may have, and The ACC prides itself on the professionalism of its choristers.
The ACC can provide choirs in four different uniforms, from formal “Australian Green and Gold” blazers, to traditional gowns and collars, or modern waistcoats and ties, or simple black and white.
