The ACC again led the community in the traditional carols for this event, accompanied by the Diamond Valley Brass Band.

LIVE TO AIR PERFORMANCE ON 3MBS -FM
3MBS studios, St Helier Street Abbotsford
The ACC presented a short live-to-air performance of traditional Christmas Carols for the 3MBS listeners, conducted by Andrew Wailes.

CORPORATE PERFORMANCE FOR BUPA HEALTH
Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre
The ACC presented a corporate pre-dinner performance for Bupa Health on a “winter wonderland” theme, conducted by Andrew Wailes.

CAROLS IN THE CATHEDRAL
St Paul’s Cathedral (Cnr. Swanston and Flinders Streets, opposite Federation Square)
The ACC performed two magnificent traditional Christmas concerts, presented by the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic. Featuring over 200 voices of the RMP Choir, Melbourne University Choral Society, and The ACC, the evening was accompanied by RMP Brass and Percussion, Amir Farid and Stefan Casssomenos (piano), Jonathan Bradley (organ), and guest soloists Greta Bradman (soprano), Roy Best (tenor), Jacinta Dennett (harp) and Roland Rocchiccioli, The Dean of the Cathedral and Julie Houghton (readers). Conducted by Andrew Wailes. Both concerts completely sold out. The second concert was filmed and will be released as a DVD in 2012.

CONCERT FOR THE BALLARAT ORGANS OF THE GOLDFIELDS FESTIVAL
Her Majesty’s Theatre, 17 Lydiard Street South Ballarat
The ACC performed a one hour concert for this prestigious Festival to 500 people. The performance featured some of the repertoire the choir performed during its 2011 European Tour, as well as other music by Australian, English and American composers. The choir was accompanied by Amir Farid (piano) and conducted by Andrew Wailes.

CONCERT FOR THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF WOMEN OF VICTORIA
Parliament House, Spring Street, Melbourne
The ACC performed a short recital inside the Legislative Council Chamber for the National Council of Women of Victoria’s “Young People Speak” Conference, as part of the “Celebrating 101 Years of International Women’s Day” events. Conducted by Andrew Wailes.

The ACC will be holding auditions for all children interested in joining the choir. There will be free tea and coffee for parents, as well as a photograph and memorabilia display. There will also be ACC staff on hand to answer any questions, and information available for all prospective members. Please contact the ACC office to arrange for an audition.
